TeamUp Youth Symposium and Exhibition: A Celebration of improved Livelihood prospects

The youth-led symposium and exhibition held on 19th March 2026 brought together young people, government representatives, development partners, community stakeholders, and leaders to celebrate the transformative power of cross-sector collaboration under the TeamUp program.

The event created space where youth took center stage, sharing their journeys, innovations, and the real-life impact of interventions across agriculture, water, and health sectors. From improved livelihood prospects to increased access to essential services, youth articulated how cross-sector interventions have enabled them to thrive.

Youth demonstrated practical solutions, from climate-smart agriculture practices to WASH innovations and health-focused initiatives, highlighting their transition from beneficiaries to active contributors, innovators, and advocates within their communities. Visitors, including district leaders and partners, engaged directly with exhibitors, gaining insight into the scalability and relevance of these solutions.

As TeamUp moves toward the close of its current phase, the symposium marked a critical transition from program support to youth-led continuity. Youth and community structures are now positioned to take forward the gains achieved, with continued support from local leadership. This shift ensures that the impact created is not only sustained but also expanded over time.
