Profile

With over 15 years of experience in the social sector, leads the Program Coordination Unit at TeamUp Uganda, q youth-focused development program that designs and implements innovative skill development interventions for youth and women in rural and urban areas. She has a master’s degree in research and another master’s degree in international relations, which enable her to apply rigorous methods and global perspectives to our work.

Monica works with diverse stakeholders and partners across government, civil society, academia, and private sector, fostering cross-sector collaboration and community partnership development. She is passionate about empowering young people with the skills and opportunities they need to achieve their full potential and contribute to the social and economic development of their communities.

She is also the vice chairman of the board at KACITA women’s entrepreneurs’ league, a network of women-owned businesses that advocates for better policies and practices to support women’s entrepreneurship. She is driven by the mission of creating a more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable society for all.
